Ever seen the one with a cat sticking its head out of a hole in the ceiling? Good! Because that is known as Ceiling Cat.
And since clearly you've not been living in a hole for the past decade, then
chances are you've already seen Basement Cat, too. This is a funny joke that plays on the superstition that black cats are evil. You'll often see lolcat pics that feature Basement Cat versus Ceiling Cat.
It seems that black cat owners are often the first ones to joke about the evilness of their pet. And by evilness we mean mischievousness. And by mischievousness we mean hilariousness. So please don't think that just because the humans of The Mew Crew find laughing about Basement Cats funny that suddenly we've succumbed to the prejudices that often surround black cats.
