Walk like an Egyptian

So starting last week I began making rounds to various pet stores and vets all over the DC Area to help spread the word about The Mew Crew. We need all the help we can get in trying to find homes for our unique kitties.

On the flyers, there is one very handsome devil that I haven't gotten a chance to post about yet.

Meet Cairo...

Ain't he handsome? He's all ready for immediate adoption!

You can read more about him in our Craigslist ad.

We really shoulda named him Fidget.

Here's a few shots from this evening of Noodley Boy. You'll notice all but one are blurry. I could not get him to sit still! That's cuz he's just moving too fast. If cat years are shorter than human years, and if Noodle is faster than any other cat, that would mean that one day in Noodle's life is probably only 45 minutes long. Heh. Silly, Noodle!

Two seconds of calm.

Mmmm...paper strips!

Mini Tuxedo in full effect!

Noodle says: "I'll get you paper! *Yarbhelghgagh*"

"Must. Rip. Paper. To shreds!"

And Cyrano is SO unimpressed. A camera could not adequately capture his disgust with...this kitty on HIS bed.

Want to take Noodle home? He's totally ready to be adopted! Just email us at mewcrew [ at ] gmail [ dot ] com.

Oh man, take a look at this...

Get a peep at this people. Look at how cute he is....

This is your first sneak peek at some new photos I've been taking. Look at his fur...ain't he gorgeous?

By the way, this is Ember. He's a 1-year old male who is totally ready to go to his forever home. Yes, he is actually being held like a baby (which he absolutely loves) and while having a macro pic taken at the same time. That's right, I got mad skills.

Want to take him home? Email us at mewcrew [ at ] gmail [ dot ] com.

Do you know what time it is?

Are you ready Mew Crew fans? We have just gotten a whole group of handsome gentlemen neutered and all up to date on their shots.

What does that mean? That soon you can take home this fool!

Samson. What a ham!

Look at him! Okay, so he was neutered a bit ago, but this picture was just too cute, so I had to post it.

Yes, that is him sleeping on his back. He was playing with that little soft toy and just fell asleep. His head is dangling off the edge of the bed and his mouth is open slightly. I had no responsibility in posing him like this. What a crazy kitty!

Heh...look at that mouth!

Would you like to take home Samson or meet another one of our kitties from the Mew Crew? Just email us at mewcrew [ at ] gmail [ dot ] com!

The War Continues: Patches and Cyrano Lay Down Their Arms

Sometimes, on very rare occassions, miracles happen at the Mew Crew.
Yes, the seas part. The temperature of Hell drops a few degrees. And even pigs fly.

So for tonight, I present to you photographic evidence that sometimes the planets fall into alignment and even Cyrano and Patches lay down their arms and co-exist peacefully, side by side.

Check it out...

Patches (L), Cyrano (R)

Heh. Yeah, I couldn't believe it either. They just laid down peacefully next to each other and went to sleep. So of course that's when I had to rouse myself out of bed and grabbed the quickest camera (sorry for the cell phone pics).

The past two weeks marked a very crazy time at work for me. So this means that yet again the blog remained unattended to. But now you'll see it spring back to life with more posts and more pictures. In fact, I can't wait! And a natural by product of working on the blog also means new homes for our guys.

Hope everyone's had a great start to August. The kind where lions and lambs are both found sleeping together.

Goodnight.
